you with 1and1? They wouldn't let me do it, one of the reasons I switched.
When people tell you that "index.php?w=1&r=mode®ister=true" is SEO unfriendly, they aren't being entirely truthful. OK, google dosen't favour them much, but I have had many websites with URLs like that which have got to the top of google. Have a look at these search results -
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=si...0&sa=N&filter=0 - bear in mind that my website has been different for almost 6 months now, and I am still getting traffic from those results (heaven only knows how...).
Another example is forums. You search for anything with the keyword "namepros" or something you will get a load of forum addresses. Google don't really mind practically.
Other than that, you won't find anything, unless your host has something installed that will do the same type of thing. Believe me, I have looked everywhere!
