| Scrollbar color in FireFox (not browser's, but overflow) I know you can't change the color of the browser scrollbar in FireFox using CSS, but can you change the colors of the scrollbar that would appear if you set overflow to auto? Or is that the same element, and therefore, not changable?

| Well, I believe this is do-able with Javascript, etc. http://www.live.com has custom scrollbars in DIVs, and GoDaddy has custom browser scrollbars (In FireFox too!!) for the My Domains area. I'll look into it for you. |

| Hi Array.
I've seen scripts out there, but was hoping for another way (like different CSS coding).
Don't spend too much time on it!
Thanks though.

There are many arguments for and against this of course. Some say maintaining consistency on the scrolllbar makes the site look a lot nice. And some are afraid that controlling the scrollbar is too much control over the user's preference. CSS Compatibility Listings & Charts is a pretty good site to show you what browsers support what |
