Only Php is a "programing"(scripting) language . Others are just Markup Languages or other ...

I use PHP/Others, but if your learning i suggest you start on html. It is a very easy "language" to learn.

I use php, sql, html and css. I haven't gotten into xml or JS yet but hope to eventually :D

You did mean REAL programming Languages
Not those ScriptKiddy Playtime Languages like Php and JavaScript
or Text editor Macro Tags like Css & Html

I have done some assembley code, horrible stuff, completely pointless as well. Which family of processors where you coding for?

I miss the old Assembly Demo coding days, Future Crew had the best stuff. I'm dating myself. Haha.

I dont see how really you can call php and other scripting languages "ScriptKiddy Playtime Languages" becuase with out them there would be no internet.Fair enough if you say that and never used the internet but you do because your on namepros.com.

I did C++, Java, VB (hey they paid me)...
Way more fun :imho: developing in php and the other 'ScriptKiddy Playtime Languages' ...but I haven't been doing this for that long ...

Am I a d00d now?

Jeez ,Guys ,Lighten Up :hehe:
php is OK language ,at least is capable of real programming constructs , Unlike
html or Css
And I have Coded everthing from
4bit MicroControllers to 64Bit Minis
including all of the Intel and Motorola families


BTW Edmarriner Without LINUX or WinServer there would be no internet
and both originally coded in "C" and Assembler ,not "php"

That is 110% true

But one thing, don't try and show off Mr Big Shot with all your damn assembly language... ggrrrr!!!! j/k I could handle C, but not assembly
