I'm doing up a feedback form for my web site and once people have done there business and pressed on the please send mail button,what i want to do is put in a new window saying Thanks for choosing cool connections
as a vale custom, one of our friendly stuff will be contacting you soon. you're now been taken back to main index page.
I'm not to shore is this is done Form Properties/Saving Results/e-mail Results down the bottom of the page you got subjetline.

The other thing is _private/form_results.csv what i want it to do is htp:// www.coolconnections.com.au/feedbackforum.jsp but use it as a formmail script. i'm not to shore if i've did this rite all not.

look for a function like mail() or email()

in ur jsp/asp script or something like that

i know one exists for php

like adam said.. you want to code a mail() function (not sure of the name for ASP) into your thank you page. this will send the mail to the person (with all your variables entered) and display the friendly page.. then you can put in a redirect to the home page also..

has this setup.. with the exception of the redirect to home.
notice in the code, the form tag calls the success.php file, which is the cutsie thank you page.. so when the submit button is pressed, you get the thank you page..

You can use FP to e-mail you the form if you wish. Check out www.frontpageforms.com for more information. it should be propagated by tonight I am hoping. Michael has done a great job.

You can also create a confirmation page via FP. If you would like to do that & his page is not running - let me know & I will walk you thru it.

I seriously never liked frontpage because I wanted to have more control over pages.
