PHP Nuke help needed ASAP

Hi,
I had my son's motocross site re-done (finally) as most may know, and now that it is finished I have encountered major problems:

I do not know anything about php, and now that the "designer" is through, I am having problems editing the site. I can not figure out how to navigate where I need to when I am in the admin mode, nor do I know how to edit or change certain things, like the graphics or headings of certain "boxes". Anyone that can help, point me to a site that could teach me how to do all I need to in php as the "webmaster" hehehe me a webmaster, ha!

Anyway, I really need to learn this as quickly as possible. I need to add some new "boxes", ex. instead of say a "Survey" box, I need to change that to a Sponsors List" box.

I run a heavily modded PHP-Nuke site, PM me if you are still in need of some assistance. Make sure you add the Sentinel security add-on, I am told PHP-Nuke is open to attack without it.
