session id

In my login script the session id is shown like this http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?PH...85bada8649b6bf

Why does it do this?

I think this has something to do with the way your web server is configured. But if you have any code we could look at to see if theres anything wrong with it??

PHPSESSID is defined in the php.ini on the webserver

there is someway to mask this i do belive as phpbb uses sessions
