![]() | Hexadecimal? I have a hex editor I use to edit certain parts of files occassionally but what is hex used for? It's not a programming language is it? And how is it able to load huge files so fast?

![]() | I'm not entirely certain, but I belive that is what you are seeing in your hex editor is a hexadecimal representation of Machine or Assemly Language, or something similar. These are very low level programming languages; their speed, efficiency, and power are only matched by their diffuculty in being understood by humans Read all about Assembly Language |
