Recompile PHP5 Problems

I've ./configure properly without any warnings or errors.

I've rebuilt (make & make install) fine

I've recompiled PHP5 fine, or so it says.

phpinfo() says everything I've asked for since the original configuration is set, enabled and fine. No errors whatsoever.

I type a new function (compiled in during this recompilation), and it gives me:
Warning: Call to undefind function blah de blah blah on line whatever.

Any suggestions?Do I have to "uninstall" and delete all the binaries first or what?

Thanks

No I mean the actual php script which is causing the error.

Basically I can't even do:

PHP Code:
<?php
echo bcadd(1,1);
?>
It gives me call to undefined function...but GD works fine now...
