Best blogging scripts

I'm planning a new site and think that the blogging scripts that I have available through Fantastico may help me manage the site, but which is the best?

Here are the ones I have:
b2evolution
Nucleus
pMachine Free
WordPress

I want to, obviously, give my site a unique look, so I need to be able to add custom graphics and use specific colors. I also want to be able to categorize each post, and have sections for special features. The ability for visitors to post replies would be nice too. And, I must be able to add advertising code, whether Adsense, affiliates like Amazon, or my own.

Any help is appreciated.

I was gonna say wordpress but I see you already have it.

That is the one most commonly used today and will be because it is an amazing software.

wordpress due to huge user base (therefore, more support and mods/hacks)

I would have to agree, Wordpress is the best. It's easy to customize, and there are lots of plugins available, and there's an active support community.

In my opinion any of these isn't good! I prefer boastMachine(boastology.com). I use it also for www.dnjungle.com!

I put my vote in for Wordpress. This was the first blog I ever used and I haven't used another since. Lots of mods/plugins and themes. The community is great and there is lots of help out there. That's my vote.

Lots of votes for WordPress so I'm going with that.

Now I need to customize it, which means I've got a bunch a' learnin' to do.

hmm...how many name points do you think it would cost me if I sent someone some graphics and the colors I wanted to use and had them create a theme for me?

Again...Wordpress.

That's because uses categories. Great layout. Lots of skins and mods out there. Plus the admin panel looks nice ^.^

I would go with wordpress - easy to use, setup, and configure the urls so its search engine friendly.
