virus second time

2 months ago i had virus in my computer, horrible thing named winfixer. Adware, or trojan, or whatever it wanna call itself. I have tryed 2 antiviruses Norton and Mcafee to get rid of it. They could not find it. I also tryet 2 antispy programms webroot and microsoft antispy. They did not found it.
And i end up with complete reinstalling my pc.
Now , after 2 month, i got this virus again. I was assuming that 2 months was enouth, for antivirus companies could develope something against it. But its look like, that only microsoft antispy and Kaspersky antivirus can find it. BUT BOTH CANNOT REMOVE it. They remove virus, when i am restarting pc, and virus is in my pc again. I tryed and scan in safe mode and in regular. Cant help. So the question is, how is it possible, to have at least 2 months virus in the net, and not to develope any antivirus for it?

Is anyone had success by removing this thing from pc using some antivirus programm, and which one did you use?

AIDS/HIV
I have been known to get rid of a lot of them. www.avast.com is a great scanner and is free. I would recommend, if in XP, to turn of System Restore while scanning. After you are done deleting the file restart. Then put System Restore back on. This creates backup points in which it keeps loading the virus...post if you have more problems.

yes i can tell from personal experience as well that avast is an excellent scanner....what's great is that the virus database keeps getting updated everytime there is an update available on their servers. Also, the proggram runs quite efficiently and will not bog down your computer (uses less resources).

the home edition is free
