Which do you guys prefer..

Php 5.0.4 or PHP 4.3.1.

I like 4.3.1, at the fact that 5..4 is relitivily new.

in php 5, you have some very cool enhancements to the object oriented side of the language ... for instance, you wont need to use references while passing objects to methods/functions in order to make sure that the same object (and not it's copy) will be available to the respective function/method...
Also, processing XML documents in PHP5 becomes very easy with the introduction of Simple XML.....

I use 5 and like it. I have not really used any of the older ones though.

thanks for the info... I have also found that PHP5 does not like cpanels autocreation functions

I still use 4.X.X

As soon as the uptake on 5 gets higher I will jump up. There are still a fair amount of scripts that do not work out of the box on 5.
