Dynamic HTML is an extension of HTML that enables, among other things, the inclusion of small animations and dynamic menus in Web pages. DHTML code makes use of style sheets and JavaScript.

HTML is HyperText MarkUP Language.

DHTML is Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language. These enable you to set websites dynamically.

For a good looking Site DHTML is better but try it only if you r comfortable it otherwise you can still create good looking pages with HTML also.
