problems with flash refresh updates

We have a audio stream from sam (a music broadcasting software) thru shoutcast. Sam stores tracks in a database, like songlist and queued / history lists. Using ASP - one is able to read the database and construct a page that consists of variables that Flash LoadVars object understands. ie track1_name=Junior Jack&track1_title=Thrill%20me&... ends up in action script. The flash movie created using the variables passed via the LoadVars in actionscript and is then displayed. LoadVars call is then looped after x amount of frames to refresh the variables...

The only problem is - this only works when the clients have changed their browser cache settings from Loading pages 'Automatically' to 'Every page visit'. With the browsers default setting of 'Automatic' - flash is as dead as a dodo.

Check this out on http://www.pure44.com
- to change yer browser settings go Tools->internet options->general tab->settings button and change it there.

I have tried using "refresh" meta's in the asp, but then flash can't read it...

Anyone worked that one out yet?

hope to hear from someone soon thanks guys
