Im Seriously Pissed at IE

I got another line randomly showing in my layout in IE.

Any clue as to why?

This is the culprit.

Its code that isn't right, IE just displays it... so if somethings wrong, its the code.

Thanks again Billy. I tried doing that first but I combined the wrong two line.

And IE does suck. Its sloppy code to have to combine lines like that. Mazilla doesnt have a problem understanding it, and neither does Netscape.

Neither does IE.

My guess is that those lines included characters that weren't just regular no-break space characters. You can move those lines back down after deleting the unknown characters.

thats because ie isnt standards compliant and doesnt use the gecko engine to render the code so ie will render code differently to other browsers.

This is true, to an extent. It used to be IE that displayed bad code, now it seems like IE has "cleaned" (we'll use this term lightly, since IE still has its FAULTS) up its act.

I do agree with Firefox (as you can see with my lovely Firefox Avatar <--) and its stability. I have just downloaded Firefox 1.5 not more than 5 minutes ago and have yet to install it. Will be installing it soon.

Go Firefox!
