Wait, don't insult PHP

Also, C++ is a very complex language (in comparison to others, I personally do not find it TOO difficult), and writing a game (ESPECIALLY a graphical one) is NOT a good way to start.

I already told you - cplusplus.com!

Also, there are no "easy" tutorials for C++. While PHP was based off of C++, PHP is MUCH simpler.

Also, W3 schools is for web programming

Anyway, just be aware that if this is just your second language, it may be difficult to start on. Otherwise, cplusplus.com is the best tutorials I've seen.

Cheers,
-Matt

If you like learning from books, barnes and noble has it's own line of programming books right now, which I have been learning php from. Full color, easy to read, etc. 10 bucks each, buy 2 get 1 free. I got php, xml, and c++ programming. I probably won't be using the c++ anytime soon, just thought it was neat I got a free book.

I like from a book since I can take it anywhere. I print out tutorials from the web, but having a bunch of loose papers gets annoying. If you can't afford a book, print all of the tutorials out and put them in a binder. Put it next to your toilet or your car, and you'll always have something to read. I learn better that way. If I just sit down and try to learn something, I usually get distracted. Like right now, I was trying to learn something, and now I'm typing this.
