Question Jayuz.com - Proxy Server

Hi,

My site is Jayuz.com. I've been with three hosts and I've been suspended three times. The last one specified that my sites was taking up too much of the CPU Resource. So I just bought a VPS today I've been seeing that CPU Resource gets to 100% a fair amount of the time. Is there anyway I can make this go down because I don't want to get suspended from this host too even though it is a VPS.
Could the code be messed up or is there just to many visitors to my site because I get from 1000-2000 visits per day? I don't really feel like buying a dedicated server either.

Please help me.

How would I use gzip compression? I'm really interested in this because I need anything that can help.

I can't edit it though because I don't know how to and if I do I'm pretty sure it won't work.

I really want to keep this one though. In the end if there is no way of getting around it I will get a new one.

Well I tried to delete as much as I could. The file is now only 198KB but it's still taking a lot of the CPU's Resources up. Right now it's at a 100% load, I really need to find a way to fix this. Does anybody else have any suggestions and could gzip compression apply to this?

Any answers would be great!

That sounds good but I need to stay with CGIProxy because that's how people are getting to my site. Many of the proxy sites I'm listed on check my site everyday and they see it's CGIProxy and it's still active. I almost lost my spot on the proxy sites because of my recent downtime.

Anything else that would help me out. I really don't see how a 198KB CGI Script can do this to a processor. I could see flash games doing it but not a CGI Script, it really doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I think I'm losing visitors because of this now, I need help fast!

I think it's fair your hosters banned you; even now, it took around 30 seconds to load your page on VPS!

Okay, first of all I'm not asking if it's fair, I'm asking what can I do to fix it. Second of all it doesn't take 30 seconds. For me it takes an average of around 2 seconds. Do you have dial-up?

I just did a speed test with websiteoptimization.com, check the screenshot I attached to here. 14.4K modems take 13.42 seconds, so I really don't know what you have

Hmm, now it seems fine, but I swear it took awhile for it to load. Seems like a peek load of server at the moment I visited it. I have cable, 4mbps line.

I don't have any ideas on how to reduce server load other than changing your scripts

Well if I did switch to another proxy program do you think it would be much better? I don't really want to but in the end I might be forced to.

Is it worth it? Is google generating much profit? After all, is this really worth your time? If answer to any of these are no - don't bother

Well I do make a fair amount through Adsense with this site. That's the only problem and that's why I don't want it to go down again.

Still looking for ideas on how to stop it from using so many resources from the system.
