Help Making A Pass Through...

Hello All,

I am needing to make a "splash page" that will only show one time and then never again if that user comes back to the website. An example is this website: http://www2.obamaforillinois.com/splash.php

Once you have been there, you are cookied and are not taken to that page again. Can anyone help me with this...i'm stumped. Thanks.

Put a cookie when user come the first time, and display your splash page. Then every time someone ask the index page, check if he has cookie or not... Not to hard to do if you have some basic PHP knowledges.

If the user used another computer, they would get the splash screen again. A good way is to use cookies AND a database of IP addresses. Assuming their IP is static, should help.
