ahhhhhhhhh!!!!! Lots of Hits, No Clicks!

I've got a lot of domains parked at domain hop. I was looking at the numbers, and Last month I had 628 hits to about 200 domains, but only 2 clicks! Sure, some domains go only 1 hit, but others brought in 60-80 hits for the month, but only 2 clicks!

How can i improvve my click through rate?

You are probably getting alot of search bots crawling the parked pages,There is really no way to persuade people to click through,The main thing is that your parking pages are maximized with content related to you domain name.

In short: Make sure your targeted keywords are spot on to the page topic (Assuming the traffic is "type - in" or expired). Also, you may try experimenting with Sedo, DS, Fab, etc., to see if you can get a better CTR elsewhere. Sometimes moving a few domains to each would be good and seeing which is the best performer for your genre of domains.
Best of Luck,
-Allan

I would probably recommend Sedo or DS for your portfolio rather than DH. They are notorious for not only shady practices when it comes time to pay, but also it's very difficult to get the proper target for your domains. I moved mine from DH to Sedo and was very happy with the CTR and in the end, it paid better than getting paid for views, but it depends. DS is kinda the best of both worlds...

Yep, I'm pretty disappointed in DH's keyword ad targeting as well. I hardly ever get a click there.

relevent parking pages make all the difference. I first had a few domains set for finance keywords because they pay alot more, but the traffic is vacation typo traffic and when I changed the targetted keywords it made all the difference and greatly increased clicks.

DJ-Sound, from your last post it sounds like you can tell what keywords are clicked on DH. Correct? That would really help in maximizing traffic to the desired keywords. So far, I haven't found that function on DomainSponsor. Anybody know if it's possible?

DomainSponsor auto-optimizes your domains to the keywords from the domain name itself, as well as what ads folks click when they get there.
However, you can email support@domainsponsor.com with the request to manually set a few terms and they might be able to help you out
Best of luck,
Allan

Allan, I already optimize the keywords myself on DS which has greatly improved results. However, it would be nice to know if clicks are coming from my optimized keywords or the categorized ones (and which ones) DS has on the site. That would give me a better idea of what types of keywords are attracting clicks.

understood...
I haven't seen that option yet, but emailing them would be the easiest way to find out
They just announced their "updated program" so maybe it's coming soon/just arrived.
