there are different ways, normally the search engine just picks it up, crawls it from people linking to you

Check out hotscripts for a few SE subbmitters mostly written in PHP and heres the link for Subbmitting to MSN if your intrested:

Here's a free one that lets you submit to 222 different search engines. This is from another thread here on NP.

No need to submit to any but msn yahoo and google. google won't even craw the domain unless it has atleast on incoming link in there database.

One of the best ideas is to post your site links on forums
as search engines gets links from them and give you more chance
of getting crawled.

Which are the top one or two sources to submit domain names that are just parked on a site such as Domain Sponsor to search engines? Also, does it make sense to submit typo and misspelled domains to the search engines?

I was wondering about this myself. If I want to submit my parked domains to search engines, what would be the best way to do it? Would it be best to just list them on my site and let the search engines pick them up that way or to submit them individually? I have a forum. Wonder if I can make a post in the forum and have them crawled from there.
