How Much Commission Does Google Take Between Adwords and Adsense?

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to Adsense. Is there a figure that Google takes in Commission between Adwords and Adsense?

When doing research, how can I get a feel of how much I would earn per click? If I go to the Google Keyword Traffic Estimator tool, it'll give me an average CPC, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't translate to how much I would make per click.

How would I get a good idea of actual earnings per click when I am doing keyword research?

Cancer Survivorship
The only way to determine this is to put up the site and find out.

Those "average cpc" numbers are not accurate because:

1) They're for the search network - the ads that come up in Google when someone does a search. Adsense is the content network - different advertisers, different bid strategy and usually costs less for the advertiser. Sometimes a LOT less.

2) How well your sites convert for advertisers has a bearing on how much advertisers pay for clicks from ads on your sites. This is called "smart pricing" and keeps the advertisers from having to pay premium prices for poor quality traffic.
