Interesting that A&T would be spending when the Iphone was selling like crazy. Maybe it was co-op dollars from Apple or part of the deal with Apple so Apple got some "free" publicity.

Wow, it's crazy how much BP spent after the oil disaster. Maybe they should have put that money into the clean up. It is interesting that they chose to spend that much on Adwords though. I did searches myself but tried to hone in on the local residents via you tube.

The money they spent on it is nothing to them and i doubt it would of impacted on how much they spent cleaning up.

For big companies it's always about "managing the message". As suggested Alex P above, it was probably just "pennies" in the overall cost of things.
