   | Poker site wants to advertise on my site Hi, I had a poker site contact me for advertising. I'm a computer gaming website, not a poker site. My current CPC is kind of low right now. About $.20-$.35 a click. My question is should I charge the poker site a higher CPC because it's a poker site? I heard Poker sites have a $3-5 CPC. Should I charge $1-2 a click? I get about 1000 clicks a month so I would be asking for about $1000/month to $2000/month. This feels like a lot of money and it feels like I'm ripping them off but would that be reasonable price? It's still much lower than the usual poker CPC right? |

   | Yes... $1-2/click would be lower than most poker sites pay at PPC search engines like ROAR. It's definitely worth charging poker sites a premium because if you start advertising poker sites, it might prevent you from using normal adfeeds like Adsense. Just something to be aware of. Also, if the poker site is willing to pay on a CPC basis, it might be more worthwhile to just signup with their affiliate program and negotiate a higher CPA deal or better yet a rev-share percentage. Whatever they list on their affiliate page can be negotiated and as the webmaster you have all the negotiating power. There are plenty of online poker affiliate options out there... Good luck!

| Oh wow, I didn't know Poker sites were banned from Adsense. This is bad...I will have see what he offers me. If I do accept poker ads can I remove all my Adsense ads and I will be fine? IF I want to use Adsense again I will have to remove all poker ads? |

You could put Adsense back after you remove the poker ads, but the poker ads link to poker sites, so you can't run both at once.
