Question Double the traffic, double the pay from Adsense?

My goal is to make twice as much as I am now with Adsense. So should my goal be to double the traffic? Will this significantly increase my revenue or not really?

No. If you have crappy placed ads, you will make the same. If your layout sucks, nobody will look at your ads.

You have to examine your CTR on each one of your ads, and experiment.

Change colors, change positioning, sizes, etc.

If you already have a good CTR then this might work because probably it means your ad placement is good. But I have notice a drop in CTR when increase the traffic. but bottom line is with more good traffic you will earn more.

My CTR right now is at about 0.98% average. Some ads do better like my 300x250 gets about 1.3%.

Those sites of yours are forums/blogs ? coz normally those have low CTR. at for other sites, those should at least have 5% of CTR.
