Does Google PPC go lower if you use a foreign cctld in your URL?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am putting together some PPC sites and wish to know if getting average keyword paying clicks with a .com produces better paying clicks than higher paying clicks but with a url that ends in .it or .fr for example.

I live in the USA, so .com is good, but do I get penalised with lower paying clicks for using foreign cctlds??

Thank you in advance

No, but you might if your traffic is mostly from those countries (depends on the country).

Thanks Enlytend...

Appreciate a response to a newbie question

To further clarify my remarks in relation to your response, I have a US traffic source which I will look to use for very good paying keywords.

So while the names may end in .fr or .it, (all the tlds taken plus .us.info.me etc) the traffic is coming 99% from the US.

So in this case, u r saying Google does NOT descriminate?

If your traffic's nearly all good, clean, US traffic there's no reason why they should care what the domain is. All that matters in the Adsense/Adwords equation is that your site and it's traffic provide fair value for the Adwords advertisers.

That's not to say you couldn't get smart priced at some point in the future (what happens if clicks on your sites convert poorly for advertisers), but that's also independent of the domain.

No actually it does matter. Google sometimes penalises sites with a particular cctld and getting most of its traffic from other countries.

THAT's the reason though, the traffic source. Not the cctld itself.
