Mediashakers - Bad feedback

Hello,
Mediashakers uses to allow to their advertiser to insert malicious code inside their ad scripts. This code will redirect visitors to other pages, load tons of sh*ts (like all those ppc search engines that are full of other sh*ts etc..) and sometimes try to install some not-good software.
I got very very disappointed for this. All this would happen with US/Canada/UK traffic, and since i'm not in these countries, i NEVER noticed anything during several months. I used to receive some complaints but when i went to check (even from different computers) i never find anything bad.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/ppc-cpc-cpm-programs/584778-mediashakers-bad-feedback.html
During last days i have received MANY complaints, and then i decided to remove ALL the ads (i also use clicksor for 1 banner and adbrite for interstitial) and try inserting one by one. Since i've thought it could be a targeted campaign, i asked to some US and UK friends to check my website every time, and they have found bad codes when Mediashakers codes were loaded.

Anyway, since it was happening for every reload, i can also think the malicious code would be inserted by themselves...but i don't want to be paranoic, so i just want to report this here, and maybe advice you to stay away from them.
And it's a pity, because they pay regularly, and their rates are pretty low but not as low as others. And, most important, they accept almost every website.

Their "game" has caused me a loss of around 10,000 uv/day. I used to have 13,000 average uv/day, and after few months with them, they have decreased to 3,000 average uv/day. During last 2 days with no Mediashakers banners, it has increased to 3,500 / 4,000 but build that traffic volume has costed me lot of work.

Hope this would help you guys.

Mediashakers did the same to me. I also stopped using their ads on my site.

In fact they completely stopped paying me after a while... they seem to have just disappeared into the blue?

I had no problem with my last payment (first days of May), i'm very disappointed because of the bad codes, losing the reputation doesn't worth their scandalously low rates.

Thank you for your feedback too.
I'm trying Clicksor and BlackLabelAds (one of my websites is adult related so BlackLabelAds is perfect for interstitials) and they're going fine. I don't feel to suggest them, but they look decent.

Media Shakers Publisher Relations

Hi all,
During the first quarter of 2009 Media Shakers took very serious development steps in which the main issue and goal was Publisher Relations improvements and better coverage throughout the world.

We now have offices in NYC, Germany, Switzerland and representatives in various other countries.
We also improved our payment cycles, and expanded our payment options.

We are about to launch a 24/7 available publishers-support application soon.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=584778

BUT - till then, you can always reach me via mail/skype and recieve the attention and help or support you need.

You make us who we are, and we are one of the biggest, most converting media entities in the industry. It goes without saying that we do not forget your part in this success.

We have done alot lately to improve publisher rates, and technical platform (in regards to monitoring, optimizing and tracking of stats')

We also put alot of effort so such cases of not-yet-paid publishers do not re-occure.

If any of you has the need to contact us for any reason, be it payment, technical support, optimization/conversion issues, suggestions or other, please contact me directly.

Best regards,

Ben.

Hey Ben, i've talked with one of your employers (i don't remember his name right now) like hundred times and never solved my problem. I've been trying to keep mediashakers for months after first complaints, and hoping you would solve the redirect-popups-malicious codes in your ads problem but since almost everyday i used to receive complaints, and since i've lost for your fault around 60% of the traffic, i never (NEVER) will go to use mediashakers again.

With Clicksor i'm pretty satisfied. I've received 3 complaints regarding the same problem with them too first days, but since i've reported them to their customer service, i've never had any issue.

Please feel free to contact me personally in this matter.

That goes for all of you out there that have tech/product issues with our tags/banners etc'

We have hundreds of thousands of banners in the system, so unfortunately, once in a while it happens.
We do have a review team dedicated to that by the way, and we do our best to fix these mis-haps' ASAP so no publisher and site user will be affected.

Again - feel free to drop me an email and I will do my best to help out.
