"Anonymous" Gossip Site Monetization (~400k imps/day)

I run a college gossip website that allows people to post anonymously. Because most of my users are of college age and rather web savvy, I see very very low CTR. I realize that one way to increase my clicks would be to add more advertisements, but for now, I want to try and increase my CPM. What companies do well for a site like mine?

Details:
Site - collegeacb dot com
Traffic - ~350-450,000 impressions/day

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My first thought was that it should be pretty clear what college students like.... :-)

But in reality you may have to try a numver of topics and different creatives to discover what works on your site.

Hmmm, it looks like you lost your Google ads from the site? That's too bad. I would try Yahoo or maybe 3rd tier providers like SearchFeed.com. The one ad you are running now is not going to do much for you.

Also, I did a search in Google and found one of your pages listed, but then I looked at the page, there was no ad at all. So you have lots of pages and traffic, but you need to work on the ads.

You should either find another ad network like Yahoo, or maybe look into setting up an ad server like OpenX. You have a pretty nice site going there and I think it has a lot of revenue potential if you can get something figured out.

With traffic of 350-450,000 impressions/day you should try CPM I think you will get better result specially if you get US traffic.

By the way why member status shows "Guest" ?

Well with this large number of impressions per day, i guess Cost per impressions ads can be a good option for you. Basically, for sites like yours, visitors are not really interested in seeing ads and therefore they dont click or follow any ads.

I think this site has a good concept but really poorly designed. The navigation is really strange. It has good potential but need a total redesign of navigation. Site feels very "closed" and information is hard to find. Great concept though, but you cant put adsense on these kinda sites, although theres other ways to monetize.
