· #1 | | NamePros Member | Just curious What seems to be the average click-through rate for you guys? I've been using adsense on my main site (still being worked on, but still)... have gotten about 5k visitors in the past week, and 0 clicks.
Wondering if I'm doing something totally wrong. Any advice? Please share your clickthrough rates =) Would be great to see what others are getting.
Thanks! |

| can you see what are the domain referrers for those traffic? it might be a clickbot or traffic bot but not humans, for that huge visitors you could have gotten at least 50 clicks or more. |

· #3 | | NamePros Member | It's all humans Thing is, my main has a section for flash games, which is where the bulk of the traffic is going. Seems people just play the games and then leave. The number of games played is increasing, and some are even going to other parts of the site, where I also see the number of views increasing. |

| i haven't seen the domain you're talking about so i can only speculate, might be with something to do with how you placed your ads? you need to place it where it's easy to be clicked perhaps on top of the games .swf itself or around it or on the right of it. |

What's a "typical" click-through rate? About 1% of page views? |

Then place your ads in these spots as these are where most of the clicks occur. You need to find a balance between making ads noticable along at the same time, making sure they aren't obtrusive to your visitors. |
