One Page Websites? Adsense and others?

Can anyone clarify if one-page websites with adsense ads are allowed under adsense rules? For some reason I keep thinking they are not due to "lack of content", but I see a few of them and apparently many are making money this way.

If you read the terms of service for adsense it doesn't explicitly say you can't, but with everything google that doesn't necessarily mean you can.

And you are right, there are many, many examples of the one page website with adsense.

You can be sure to be on their good side by making more than one page, and keeping the content original while having enough of it. A single page with 500 or more words followed with an 'about' and/or 'contact' page should be good enough. It's in your best interest to have more pages anyways for a number of reasons.

Because in the same time you can put one page of content on three sites
