You probably know this, but try to stick with the videos as they pay $4CPM. I use the text articles for my site (hate.info) since it helps provide live up to date content. However, it only pays $1CPM

if you get the embed code directly you won't get paid it has to be generated.
login to thenewsroom.com and then choose what category you want, wait for the .swf to load, click on the embed button and it will pop up a wizard asking you of your email, the size, and it will spurt out the code.

like U.S., News, World, Business, Politics, Health, Sci-tech, etc. make sure you're also logged in and using the same email.
it does that sometimes even the video is already embedded in my site, they run out of feeds but give it within 24 hours and it will show up again.
