Since i didn't see this link BEFORE i signed up , i'm not sure if Google is going to actually award me that bonus. My acct is 3 days old, so i'm hoping for the best.

If your account is not older than 14 days than u can use promotional code to get credited.
just sign in your adwords account go to my account and than got billing preferences. there will be one promotional code option at the bottom side. just put that code in the box and redeem. u will be credited.
Thanks for the info. I went through the process and now have a $50 balance in my account. This is nice for me since it is my first time ever using adwords. So I am giving it a spin.
But be very careful about your spendings on AdWords. If you don't know what you are doing you'll be losing money fast with low/no conversions. I've spent about $70 in my first AdWords shot with no single sale from it.
Well, at the beginning I only had search network traffic on and content network off for a few days and my spendings never reached my daily budget. I got very few clicks from search network traffic and that's when I decided to turn the content network traffic on and it was like a money drain
My advice to you is to keep the content network off at the beginning and work on search network campaign optimization. Then you can start testing with the content network with limited budget.
Thanks for the info. I had actually turned this on when I signed up. And that was about an hour ago. Man the impressions(259 impression in less than an hour with the content on). So I just logged back on and turned it off until I learn a little bit more about a adwords campaign. So thanks for the heads up.
I believe you can use the same CC on many Google AdWords accounts, but you won't get the bonus if you use a CC that has already been used on another AdWords account because it's meant to be for new users only.
