I saw a poll like this on another forum and thought it was a good idea and that it should be done here too to get a bigger picture of what is going on...

I heard they went from Pay-per-Click to Pay-per-Performance, meaning you only get revenue from visitors purchasing something, not from clicks on ads.
Not positive, but seems like this would hurt revenues for alot of names parked there.

Save The Children
his is what is taken from the DS website:

Rewarding Traffic Quality

Over the past few months DomainSponsor has been hard at work trying to find new and innovative ways to increase payouts and reward publishers with the highest quality traffic. We're pleased to announce some of these advancements to you today.

Due to recent enhancements via our upstream partners, combined with direct advertiser conversion data generated by Revenue.net, we have developed greater insight into the performance of each individual publisher's traffic stream. We can now more accurately gauge the quality (backend sales conversion) of your specific traffic and compensate you accordingly. Many of you will notice an increase in payouts.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/ppc-cpc-cpm-programs/133098-since-ds-changes-my-portfolio-revenue.html

This pricing recalibration will be rolled out at approximately 9pm PST today 10/11/2005, across all publisher accounts. This model includes adjustments to our bid values, which will now be dynamically aligned with your respective traffic quality.

It may take a few weeks for the full impact to be reflected in your earnings. The impact to each account will vary and in large part be a function of the quality of your traffic. All publishers will see changes in either direction on a per domain basis, but many will see an overall increase in payouts. These increases may take a few weeks to fully integrate.

This is as exciting a development as DomainSponsor has ever announced. Our integration with Revenue.net will continue to give us greater insight into sales conversion rates and we are now armed with the proper data to be able to reward the higher quality traffic streams.

There are more exciting announcements coming in the weeks ahead.

Stay tuned...

i am not saying they did convert, but I have heard from several people and this note on the website seems to point to the same thing IMHO.
I could be wrong and said I was not positive. Anyone with other info please let us know.

Pay per click seems to be down now: only 0.01$ or .02$ sometimes.

just a word of advice. dont assume anything about what people post is true.

try the program for yourself, and trade information with reliable people you have dealt with.

A lot of posters in forums have their own agendas.

my two cents...

Baby Health

Slight change for the positive, voted Stayed the Same (+/- 5%)
Although, I do not believe it has been long enough to be statistically significant. At a minimum, a months sample will be need and that will still require some room for variation.

hmm your 2 cents for your 4 posts. Welcome to NP.

I'm not sure what you are trying to get at here, but there is nobody saying anything about not using them. This forum is full of reliable people that many of us have dealt with often, and your incinuation of posters having their own agenda is not relevant in this thread. This is a place for sharing useful information and that is all that has been done here.

I haven't check my DS lately due to other on going projects.

Though I suggest that you visit your management console and check for your self. You as publishers should know by now if your revenue gone up or down.

Happy high paying revenue to everyone.

Regards,
Em

Its been a few weeks since the change and since then my portfolio revenue as a whole has been gone up 25-30%, one domain in particular went up over 400%, and now has an ave RPM of $1979 over the past 3 weeks.
I simply transferred out the few domains whose revenues dipped.

That would suck!
If it was pay-per-performance.
