Which Parking Site is the Best?

Hi there,

I'm trying to find out which parking PPC site is the best as far as the following:

1. CPC
2. How much traffic do they get to their site & how popular is it
3. Customer Service & friendly attitude
4. Reliable & ethical

Thoughts & ideas?

That's the million dollar question.I had names parked at goldkey,Were making very good revenue,GK paid me,Then all of the sudden the landing pages for my names changed and were no longer monetized? Fabulous is the only service i use that i know will monetize and pay right now.I have names parked at domainhop,fabulous and domainsponser,Changing my names to other parking services every month is begining to be a pain.I hope i find my one good DN parker and don't have to continue to this.

No, you shouldn't have to change every month.

I just like working with friendly people & although the one I'm with now is ok, I just feel like they wanted my domains & now that they got me, they could care less about anything else & I've only made $7 in a few weeks & I have over 165 domains.

What about Sedo? I would have thought people would be claiming they are the best.

Also, I was told by my Parking service that I don't have to categorize them, but I read in another thread that you do b/c otherwise the ads aren't relevant to the domain name & clearly that means people won't click.

I just signed up with Sedo for my first parking experience because it has customizable keyword optimization. Seems like that should help a lot in getting traffic, but I'm also surprised at the lack of positive posts about Sedo.

really depends on your goals, if you are looking for high cpc you can probably do better than sedo and park elsewhere, however if your goal is to sell the domain then I would say use the more popular sites with more users looking to buy. I personally like sedo & afternic as I could care less about cpc and am just looking to sell domains at the quickest rate. Kinda hard to find 1 that meets all your needs, have to do a test and park them at each for a week or 2 and see what works best for the names you have. Yes this can be a pain if you have a lot but really the only way to tell or take 1 type of each category and test it 1 poker, 1 automotive, etc...

I'm just looking to get the highest CPC right now until I have page made up for each domain & Fabulous doesn't seem to be getting me any hits.

I've only made $7.20 in almost 30 days, but that's based on 162 domains, not just a few.

Currently I have 25 domains at Goldkey. I thought I should try out the others also before I make up my mind. Gona park 20 more today or tomorrow at domainhop. How was domainhop. Trustworthy? Monetizing a DN consists of you using keywords to drive traffic to your landing page,Using 100 overture and ect keywords is not uncommon to monetize a DN,,The second part of monetization is done by the parking service you choose by them creating your landing page with rich content that is targeted to the niche of your DN,Getting both of these will produce nice revenue results for your parked DNs,However it seems it's hard to get the parking services to monetize the landing pages to compliment the names,That's where the search begins for the parking service that will best fit your needs,A clipart DN with cedit card information on the landing page is virtually worthless as people come there looking for clipart,Hopefuly a service will arise that will fit all the above needs,But i've yet to find one.

I have tryed pretty much every domain parking program, and certain programs are good for certain domains, like Fabulous seem to be the best for Poker domains etc etc, but i have come to the conclusion that the only way to find out is split your names into 4, for example if you have 100 domain, put 25 in each of the domain parking programs, then rotate them, see how this works then you can see for yourself what the traffic and montly revenue is. at this stage you will be able to see what the traffic is like per domain, then what i would do and am currently doing myself is make your OWN page, dosent have to be huge project, just a site with some content on it and a few graphics related to that certain subject/site then go and get affiliated with some decent paying sites and get Adsense on there, this way you keep 100% of the profit from your names. I've found that most parking providers pay well on the first few clicks, then all of a sudden it drops when the click are more frequent, i had a domain at GoldKey.com making $2 per click, then it just dropped to 0.09 per click. Here is my top tips:-

Make sure you have traffic

Make a simple page with content and graphics about your domain

Get Adsense on there and get affiliated with some good sites
i.e. if you have a poker domain get affiliated with partypoker.com, pokerstars etc etc

Then bingo, YOU keep the profit

I've sent you an email addressing the performance of the domains you have parked with Fabulous.

At Fabulous we deal primarily in type-in (direct navigation) traffic. We feel that this is the highest quality of traffic available on the Internet and our major focus is on this type of traffic. We do accept traffic from existing search engine listings, however it is not our primary approach.

As we have always mentioned, there are some domains that perform well on our programs and those that will yield better results elsewhere. Therefore, I would encourage you to park your domains where they earn you the most revenue.

Lol, it is very confusing, but i think after all said and done, we all have our own ways to make money from our domains we dont use, its just a case of narrowing down what parking program works the best for you. I still say split your domains into groups and then place them with each program your with the just rotate them once a week/month until the cycle has compleated, this way you can see the exact traffic/revenue you make, it IS time consuming todo this but atleast you will know what one works for you and your domains. i'm yet to move my domains to Fabulous.com, so i can't say if there any better or any worse than GoldKey.com or Sedo.com, but i shall keep people posted on my progress,and this is the LAST parking program i use! lol.

As a company, Sedo is irritating me right now. I uploaded a spreadsheet of 300 names to them (in their format, using their spreadsheet) to list for sale. It's been about 6 six days now and nothing. they didn't respond to my first inquiry about it, and it took another one to get them to responds. they said they have to enter them it manually and they have not got to them yet. Afternic, on the other hand, let me upload/download names automatically, instantly.

I'm still leaning toward www.godomainparking.com Developed by a person for the people not a big company that doesn't care. As traffic increases and parked names increase so will keyword payouts. You get 80% no minimum payout. all names accepted you pick the keywords. Also themed parking pages will be installed soon.

I just put all my names at fabulous,Had some there already but iam only satisfied with fabulous landing pages and monetization,No match to em at this time imo.I tried Goldkey,Domainsponser and domainhop..GoldKey started out well,But changed my landing pages causing CTR to drop alot,Domainsponser needs a decent landing page that has a more of website feel,Domainhop customer service is null and the stats page doesn't work half the time,Fabulous has proven to me they are the leader right now.

For me,

Sedo: Works great INITIALLY after sometime, it S*cked worse
DomainHop: not working at all (i only have 2 domains there though)
DomainSponsor: decent
ParkingSite: decent
GoldKey: decent.

Do you guys think that the number of domains you have parked with particular program have effect on the overall performance??

DomainHop seems to be nice... i think i am going to add more domains in there.

I have been using Go Domain Parking for a while now. I only have a few crap domains parked and I got 5x the amount than what I used to get on sedo. Been a few weeks and I have a few dollars in there now. A respected member from NP here owns it. You guys should at least just give it a shot. Almost the same as Sedo for setting keywords except its all instant!
