Mechanics of Pay-per-Click

With domain parking, we get paid whenever someone clicks on an ad on our page. The question is, how do they even find our website?

I mean, we can't just rank high enough on a Google search result immediately. Do companies like Sedo actually promote our website address?

Nope, basicly places like SEDO are for domains that use to have sites and have links to them still.

You actually have to promote it or like Zurax said if it still has links then you probably won't have to.

Ok, I guess it was wishful thinking that I could make big money by just simply buying domains

Can you give me directions on how to promote the domains or is there an existing thread? Thanks.

Btw, just checked my Sedo account - 6 views and 1 click on my first day

Not bad at all and one easy and simple way to start is to just place the link in your signature. The thing is though is that it is alot harder to promote a parked domain then a developed one because there is no original content made by you.

Watch it some of the parking places dont allow you to post the URL on forums, even in a sig.

When joining a PPC program, does it mean that for the 50% of the revenues that we pay to them (that's the way right? ) , do they put the maximum effort to make the site to gain the high possible earning, or do we have to promote the sites ourself?

Note*( in most of the tos and FAQ I read they declare they(?) share 50% but they are not allowed to reveal how much they are really payed by Overure, google or the circuit they are affiliated, that sound quite tricky IMHO, Isn't?)

No you do all promoting. If its a parking site you need to follow their terms. Some do not allow any advertising at all. Only old links to the site/URL.

You can always buy cheap hosting and then join a PPC Search Engine and set up a portal on each domain.
