Question DomainSponsor Landing Page Load Time -ugh

I'm just posting this to see if anyone else is as bugged by this as I am.As most of us know, you don't technically park your names with DomainSponsor, you set up a redirect.
I know instantly whenever I reach a DomainSponsor landing page because there's a good 2-5 second "lag time" while you see yourself being forwarded, before you reach the landing page. With Sedo and all the rest, you snap instantly to the landing page,no lag time.
I have a domain that get's 1200-1400 uniques a day while parked at Sedo.It was doing well, but I thought I'd try it at DomainSponsor. When I put it there it fell below 200 uniques a day.I move it back to Sedo, and it goes back up.
My point is one of two things is happening:Either this lag time is costing us serious amounts of visitors because the 2-5 second window gives people time to realize they've made a typo and close the window OR DomainSponsor isn't counting all the visitors.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/parking-and-traffic-monetization/83952-domainsponsor-landing-page-load-time-ugh.html
I love the payouts at DS but whenever I put a name there that was previously at Sedo,I see a huge drop in traffic.Anyone else have experience with this?

This usually happens.
Your analysis is reasonable and there's another possible reason, that SEDO and DH are counting some ghost/spider/images visits but DS is probably not.

You could try to park it at your own servers. If the visits are higher than the DS, then it should be the lag time that drives the visitors away.

marisolblue is an unknown quantity at this point

I try not to do forwards if I can help it. Doing an A record or using the parking companies DNS is usually better

I use hosted domains to URL forward to Domain Sponsor (See HVBO.com). This allows me to do 2 things: 1) Keep track of the actual stats as well as what DS reports (Not a huge complaint thus far, although routinely 10-20% off on non-spider hits, I can live with that for the payout) and 2) Have my "for sale" listing popup in the background, giving double exposure.
