![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Pricing per click on my site Hi guys, Ok, here it is. I have a new site and some local business want to place ads on my site. Well, since I am not going to google or any other advertising program, how do I know what value per click I should charge? I know it depends on how much traffic you get so here is my solution. 0-500 visits/month = $/click (how much, I don't know) 500-1000 visits/month = $$/click (same as above) 1000-2000 and so on and so forth. Is there a way of figuring this all out? thanks Eric

You will need to take into account the niche of the advertiser (how much money is he making from each sale), the quality of your traffic, and how beneficial your service can be for the advertiser. Instead of charging based on a per click basis you may want to consider a monthly flat fee for the ad placement. As your traffic increases you can tier your advertising rates. |

![]() | I don't know how much of a help this site would be to you due to me never using them, but I've always kept them in the background in my memory.. Online Advertising, Pay Per Click Advertising, Banner Advertising, Video Advertising, Text Advertising, Peel Away Advertising, Affiliate Program @ AdToll - Your Tollgate to Web Traffic 3 things could happen by you checking them out: 1) you may be able to go through them to do this deal 2) you may do the deal on your own with this local company, but get a basic idea of how much to charge per click by getting an account at adtoll 3) you may not find it helpful Like I said, I don't use them, but consider them as an advertising venue to check out when one of my sites get bigger. Also, I never did research on whether they are good or not..do your research! Best of Luck. Also, I don't know if this would work, but if they set up google analytics on their site, couldnt they generate reports of how many people visited from your site as being a referral? Maybe you could have access to this report.. I'm still new at all of this, so if anyone has thoughts on what I said then please post them. Peace! (btw, my name is Eric, also!) ---------- Post added at 07:08 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:05 AM ---------- Wow, OK. The website I typed in turned into that long link somehow. It is actually www.a-d-t-o-l-l.com (without the dashes) |

![]() | You will have to negotiate with the advertisers to determine the cost per click. Be careful about your early planning stages. i had a friend who totally rushed into it and she lost her clients as she was clearly impatient. How about impressions per page? Besides the clicks? ever thought about that? |

![]() | Do some reasearch using google external keyword tool. Find any keyword related to your website and dont forget to show CPC column. After doing some research you will can figure your own CPC you should charge to your customer. |
