Maintain Traffic?

How do you maintain traffic to your parked domain name and increase traffic to it? Do you let the traffic slowly die off or is there methods you like to use?

more than likely, any type of traffic advertising is banned from your parking provider (you may want to check their FAQ) but in short, IMHO, there is nothing you can do to maintain your traffic on a parked page, short of changing to another parking provider who might have better templates etc...

Really you could try building backlinks to your parked domain for odd long tail keywords, this can generate traffic via the search engines and those specific backlinks. Works well for low-competitive keywords and phrases. 20-25 backlinks with the right anchor text and you can rank #1.... note these keywords probably only send 1 to 5 visitors a day.

Better check with the parking company first though; some ban that sort of thing outright.

Compare parking copanies to get best revenue. Make your own testing for different parking companies to find what works best for You.

And if You got Parking that allows You to set Meta tags, keywords like Parked.com, then you can add your domains to search engines that does not recognize and penalize parked sites and get some extra traffic.
