Okay, I'm parked, now what????

I've parked at parked.com. And I've optimized a couple of my domains and nobody has come by all day. What should I expect? What more can I do. I've adjusted the keywords, using some of the freekeyword site's words, as well as words I would use to search. Still, nothing. I hear about people getting upwards of a 100 visits to their domains? Is it all keyword manipulation?

On another note. Can you put google adsense or bidvertise on these sites? I assume you can't.

Yet another note, would I be better off hosting these sites through godaddy and putting one simple page on each domain?

First of all I am not sure if revenue or traffic will really update for 24 hours, so you should double-check stats tomorrow.

Also did you have traffic before you moved to parked? They aren't an SEO package per se so I wouldn't expect an increase in the amount of visitors from prior parking pages, only higher revenues off the same vistors.

You're not really allowed to drive traffic to your parked domains, nor can you rely on search engines (Google in particular has pretty much stopped sending traffic to parked domains) so unless your domains already had traffic going in, you're probably not going to make too much from parking, unless you have a domain that people just naturally type in.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but you should manage your expectations. I have almost 1200 domains, and there have been days while building my portfolio that I didn't make five bucks (I only have new regged domains - I've never bought an expired or otherwise previously owned one) But I built my portfolio more for future resale value and development than for parking.

If you really want to make money with it, you'll need to develop it. Unfortunately, domain parking is no longer the "sit back and watch the money roll in" game it used to be.

Parking doesnt generate income unless you have a nice domain with lots of type ins. The only reason I park is just to see how much traffic my domains get which are set for future sales or for development. I make between $0 and $1 a month parked with like 50 domains but my top traffic one is a geo from a non english speaking country so even if the ads were correctly targeted, which they aren't since the geo is pretty obscure and no relevant ads for it, they still wouldn't click since they cant understand what it says. I have a bunch of LLLL.com, LLL.in, NNNNN.com and they don't really make much traffic and the ads aren't really what they are looking for when they type these in I guess so no clicks on those either.

And yet, at the same time, I think it'd be kind of fun to develop them. -Even if I'm even less experienced in that. I have one regular site that was to be my home base but it doesn't get any traffic either. I'm working on it though. Related question, what is the easiest program for making a website- I use Frontpage and it's pretty confusing...

How would I develop business sites (I bought like 50 of them), of which I know nothing about...

And what about the adult sites, like I wanna sit there and develop 12 adult sites.

The other ones might be fun. MIGHT?#$^&*%*

I uses notepad to develop sites...

First, you need to learn basic Html, XHtml, CSS.... then from there... you need to learn about link building, SEO, Marketing Strategies, Keyword's, Advertising programs, Monetization Techniques, ect. Then you can get a basic site set up and start making a little money. After you have that mastered, move on to learning PHP, MySQL, .ASP, Java, and such. Then you can make a really nice, functional, intriguing site. This should take you a good 3-5 years. After that, you will be 3-5 years behind on all the new stuff that has happened. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

But for now, start here. They have one of the best free guides on learning HTML and CSS for beginners.

There's gotta be something easier than frontpage. Look at my site. I work my butt off to do the slightest things (for instance, move this thingy over to this part of the screen-ahhhhhh). And the end result is it looks like a 2 year old designed it. Check it out and giggle...

Well, that's the basic problem with using "programs" to build websites from the ground up. Without a solid understanding of HTML and CSS it is bound to be confusing. Most web designing programs are meant to be used in tandem with hand coding. There is nothing more reliable than doing the coding yourself. You think frontpage is confusing? Try using Dreamweaver without understanding a thing about basic web design. Or if you really don't feel like learning, you can always use wordpress and make a pretty looking site without really knowing anything about web design.

OR, you could always try some scripts or software... Try steadyniche. I have not experienced using this but i have read a lot of good feedbacks about this item. Goodluck to you.
