This is the last email from Sedo:

Thank you very much for getting back to us!
After doing a careful analysis of your traffic, our advertising partner
unfortunately judged your traffic as being of inferior quality and strongly
asked us to close your parking pages.
We are very sorry, but we have to respect this decision in order to protect
parking advertisers from receiving non-converting traffic.

Best Regards,

Ulrich Essmann

Due to fraudulent activity, you have been blocked from participation in the Sedo Parking Program and all of your revenue has been deleted. As explained in the Domain Parking FAQ, Sedo and our advertising partner will not tolerate any fraudulent behavior or artificial manipulation of clicks. This includes, and is not exclusive to:

* clicking yourself
* using scripts or other automatic means to generate clicks
* using pop-ups or pop-unders
* incentivized clicks
* anything that does not result from natural traffic

You may continue to list your domains for sale through Sedo if you wish, but you will not earn revenue from your parked pages. If you can provide information and prove that the revenue has been earned legitimately, we will refund it.

Best Regards,

Daniel Klotz

I guess it is ultimately up to the advertisers -- although just how they judged the traffic inferior remains unclear...

I'd say it's because of foreign Traffic ...... Not all Foreign (Non-English) Traffic is useable by advertisers ~

I agree. However, it also means that Sedo's advertising service is at the very least rudimentary. If they really care about that issue, GeoTargetting was invented long time ago and even open source ad servers feature it. I've visited different domains currently parked at DomainHop and whenever I click on certain ads I'm shown a page that says "Sorry, but the advertiser has chosen not to..." as it detects I'm not coming from the USA. We all know it's fairly easy to overcome this restriction, but at least the problem is sorted out as far as legit visitors are concerned. If this is what actually happened to your domain (and this might as well be presuming too much!) I'd say that Sedo is not up to the job. Even though it's their right to do what they've done, it would have been nice to receive additional information. They have it available since as they admit they have been "doing a careful analysis of your traffic". Just my two cents...

I suspect its because loads of people type in blabla.com when not actually looking for anything, and click randomly for services they don't want, hence very low rate of clicks to conversions, regardless of what nation they come from. Sedo obviously regarded it as just costing a lot to their advertisers and putting unnecessary strain on their servers without generating anything, and thus however rude they might be they were within their rights to close your service.

I guess getting paid for visits even without clicked at somewhere like DomainHop might be nice for a domain getting as many type-is as yours...

i guess when cliks get too high, they think some scripts have been used or the "enlisted" clicking army has been at work again
it sucks but what the heck! big guys have all the say!!!

100+ domains with different keywords, some use the general first page unoptimized. Traffic mostly from Yahoo search engine, the content has long gone but yahoo still sending traffic.
