That was my impression as well until recently, but there are parking programs that allow driving traffic to your parked pages, for example with Adwords.

And arbitraging between Google and Yahoo ad price differences.
Example: Pay $0.10 cent for a click on Adwords and earn $0.50 cents on Yahoo if your parking provider has a Yahoo feed.

@Damion: which Parking Providers are you talking about?
I've domains parked with Namedrive, Sedo and Bodis, but none of them allow you to drive traffic to your domains.

I have seen various members posting that that is what they are doing.

Two threads that can give you more insight on this:

Thread 1
Thread 2

I am not sure which parking companies allow it though , it's something i am in the middle of researching as well.

Parked allows arbitrage. I think that it has to do with the feed providers. Companies using Google as their feed provider never allow aritrage. Those using Yahoo sometimes allow it, like Parked.

Their TOS says:

Quote:
1. Permitted, compensated traffic can originate from two sources only:
2. type in (direct navigation) traffic and
3. existing search engine results/expired traffic.

But if you are planning to do parked page arbitrage, it's not the Parked.com terms you should be most worried about - have a look at Google's (as in Adwords).
