If a Mobi ever reaches the 1m mark I think it will be a banking related domain. Although there has been a bunch of keyword real estate domains being snaped up very quietly of late. So maybe it will be a real estate domain.

Good points and all is likely.

Crazy business and one million is not much to a business like Playboy either, or Madonna, or Oprah or it could come from anywhere. Maybe since flowers.mobi has so much publicity, 1-800 flowers, a very wealthy company will buy the name.

Won't be see'in ya at DN, as I canceled my membership, got a refund and moved all my names out of that looney bin, lol.

Its funny, I was posting for years there that auction houses should start reaching end users by way of spending money on a marketing program. Seems like leasethis.com beat everyone to the race. They are now hooking up all the Real Estate companies with a "lease domains" contract. Thats what we need! Talk about being proactive and bright.

We will now begin to see some money being spent to "court" advertisers and its beginning with the Real Estate market. Why not, thats where the big ad dollars are.

I am so happy to see some light at the end of this dark tunnel of slow domain sales.

This company realizes that billions of dollars are waiting in the hands of Americas small business owners, so they are going to help all of us. The advertisers will be geting much better direct traffic response. Domainers are getting interest for their domains and from the right clients, end users.

Well, I wish them as much success as Google. If they acheive that all of us will be sailing.

Yeah, I love the leasethis.com idea. There was a thread over at DN that discussed renting, leasing, financing, and optioning names. If the market ever get's rolling, the secondary domain market will grow exponentially. There will be 100's of milllions dumped into the market because of the ability to option/finance names.

Imagine selling a mid-level doamin for 3-5k on a contract paying you a few hundred a month. You could then turn around and either sell that contract to speculate on an emerging TLD or ccTLD. For those of us that are close to being able to live off of domaining, it would put us over the top.
