| Is ALEXA pointless?.
I have a website ranked 688.440 with alexa dot com? The site's index page gets a dozen or so uniques a day so how does it have that ranking.
It seems to me that alexa has lost the plot on its rankings.
What do you think.

| it is just that alexa rankings can be easily manipulated, so you need to check out other stats as well.

| Alexa shouldn't be relied on too much .... Some of the things it shows and links to can still be useful (Wayback Machine ,Sites a domain may or may not have been linked to) - But it definitely shouldn't be much of a determining factor when Appraising or Deciding to buy a domain .....
