· #1 | | NamePros Member | Keep Visitors Staying I just checked out my recent web stats for http://www.iamtq.com , and it's all looking good, with loads of unique visitors per day, however when i go down a little and check out some other stats, 117 of the 170 unique visitors stayed for between 0-30 seconds!
It must be all about first impressions or something, but could someone please give me some tips on how to improve this figure, maybe some suggestions for the first page of the website etc |

| Wow, looks really nice to me, maybe it's the flash, people may not want to wait for it to load if they are on dial up modem? how are you linking to your site from other places? Maybe when they arrive there it is not what they expected, how are your visitors finding you? |

· #3 | | NamePros Member | well i recently employed a SEO expert to optimize all my keywords and meta tags for me, so that shouldn't be a problem, i really ain't sure where most of them come from, because the majority traffics are from direct links, maybe from search engines, and im getting quite a few from web design forums..not sure where else really... |

| If you ask me, then i think that its all in the place from which the people are coming from. I think that they think they are going to some type of other place.
For example: From the web design forums, like here, I clicked on the link to see what this site is, stared at it for 7 seconds, the quit without noticing! In about 7 seconds, it was all over because I was not a targeted viewer. I think that you should just have more place people can find you from. I suggest traffic exchange from sites similar to yours (hopefully popular ones).
Hope I helped at least a little. |

| Quality content is what users stay on websites for. Your website doesn't actually offer users enough to keep them there....then again why should it? |

| Where the links are aren't obvious. It took me a few seconds to realize they were behind the screen. I thought the words under imatq designs at the top were the links, but didn't work when I clicked on them. To explore further should be the function of the first page. Flash is never a good idea when it comes to linking. Search engines also can't see Flash links very well and thus can skip the pages and many people just despise it to begin with.
Also you may want to spell check your text (opportunity for example). |
