Best way to promote small sharing website

Hi

Does anyone know what the best way is to promote a sharing website?

wesbite: pocashare[dot]com

I suppose just submitting to directories ain't the best solution. The only promotion I done so far is submit it to search engines (index) and asked someone to put them on several bookmark websites.

Any ideas?

I think the best way to promote small or big sites is to offer excellent content/services in your site. Search Engines love to see useful and unique content in sites and SEs rank such sites high in SERPs.
That way you will get natural backlinks.

Well you post it on various forums, advertise on facebook, using adwords, twitter. youtube, referral contest.
but for 20 mb of video is so small... how many minutes will it be for a mp4 file say?

Do regular Bookmarking that's a good idea.
Blog Commenting, Article submission, or advertise you sites
joining in forums and also try to
join in Yahoo answers, there you will get targeted traffic.

Article submission, blog and forum posting, search engine submission, social bookmarking submission, web link directory submission etc.

Forum posting like what you are doing now will help promote your site.. You can participate on other strategies as well like classified ads and press releases.. You can get quality of back links using these strategies..
