What is the best way to market a Domain Flipping ebook?

Good day everyone,
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/marketing-techniques/587112-what-best-way-market-domain-flipping.html

I have a Domain Flipping ebook which is at The Ultimate Guide to Domain Name Flipping and was looking for some ideas to effectively market the book to generate some good sales. Currently I am doing the following:

1. Submitting articles to Ezines (if you know of good ones please let me know)
2.Forum postings (lol, what I'm doing right now)
3. I have a Facebook group up which (I hope) does a bit of indirect marketing.
4. Press releases
5. Directory Submissions - (I read that these were not very effective)

I tried ads, but they were very costly and didn't bring any results.

I get about 10-15 visitors per day, but no sales conversions :-(

If anyone has some ideas please feel free to let me know

Thanks for all your help,
Andre

a couple of things come to mind:
1. offer review copies in the forums
2. lower your price or make some sort of discount or deal possible.
3. post in newbie section, that's where everybody come to learn
4. work on your own reputation. People with a proven track record in domainflipping should have no problem selling their insider secrets
Hope this helps

Cancer Survivorship
Read up on desigining a landing page, writing ad copy and choosing effective keywords and try PPC ads again.

FWIW, your home page could pack a lot more "punch" than it does. If I scan the page, it isn't immediately clear to me what you're selling or why I should buy it.

On the web, people don't read, they skim. If they don't find something interesting in 1-2 seconds (if that) they leave, if something catches their attention, THEN they'll read.

Write a compelling page headline to draw people in, point out 3-5 benefits of buying your book (bullet points are good). Search the stock photo sites and find an image that supports your selling points. Then give them a big link to buy the book and you'll improve your conversion rate.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I have started to include some review copies in the forums. I thought that this was a great idea, in fact I include it in my signature. I am in the process of improving my sales page so that it packs a 'punch' I am posting in the newbie section also.

I welcome all comments, criticisms etc....this makes me better!

I'd definitely work on your website a bit more and make it a powerful sales lander. I would also recommend making constructive posts on relevant blogs as this is a good way to build backlinks from relevant sites and boost your SE rankings. You may even look at offering an affiliate program too gain more marketers.

HI

You should also add an affiliate programs so other sites promote your ebook and drive more visitors to your site... thus making more sales for you.

You should also have an email optin auto-responder where you give out a free 14 day domain flipping ecourse via email.. it could be a cut down version of your ebook... and for your readers to get all the goodies you should tell them to buy the ebook in every email they get for the 14 days and on the 15th and 20th day if they have not bought your ebook send them a followup email offering them a discount off your ebook... but if they buy the ebook in the first 14 days make sure you auto remove them from your email ecourse to a paid customer list.. so they do not get the discount email.

Thanks

proson is an unknown quantity at this point

sales conversion depends how good is your sales copy, the price point, customer testimonials etc. Of course you should always highlight the benefits of your ebook as well as your unique sales prepositions.

By the way you should always split test your copy and see which one is converting. Hopes that help
