200 uniques a day

Im currently getting 200 uniques a day for a site i just started. Can somebody tell me if 200 uniques a day can make any money. For example, if a site gets 200 uniques a day, is there an average amount of money they should be making from banners, or other types of programs. Im pretty new at this.. Do you also have any suggestions on ways of making money from this.. Thanks

The easiest is put google ads and maybe join an affiliates program related to your site, and see where it go.

Well to be truthful you could have 1000 unique hits a day and they're just useless visitors.

First I recommend to find the time duration of your visitors, the pages they spend time on, and maybe conduct some survey's to determine some information on your visitors.

Now that you know where your visitors seems to gather and a little about them you can attempt to get advertisers related to your site, your visitors interest, and located on the pages that they visit most.

I also have to point out that the front page isn't always visited most, although it's common some people head streight for forums to bookmark or even a page with links to a lot of content that they find useful.

It's a case by case basis. If you just started out the site then don't rush it. Take some time, see how things go out and then take some steps to placing advertisers.

I recommend not to use affiliate programs and such and stick to advertisers. It allows you to gather a 1-on-1 relationship and get to know the person why you conduct buisness with them. Knowing your advertisers helps a lot as you can offer then other forms of advertising on your site that you know would benefit them.

Look at the search keywords on your domain and site referrer. This prove to be an effective way to find out why you have visits to your site.

I would have to agree with Ethan (lol, sheriff of nothing ). Affiliate networks are just not worth it. Commisions are generally low. You can get far better results by offering advertising yourself.

well it is better to use affiliate programs if you sites are generally small, as it will be easier to manage.

I would say, pay per click advertising will be effecive . 200Per day is a medium site. Try
direct leads, or clickxchange.com and google adsense.

it will be the most effective thing for you.

I recomomend that if you are going to use an advertising program to use AdSense as it's most reliable and has a good network of advertisers along with belonging to a pretty good company, Google.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/marketing-techniques/52916-200-uniques-a-day.html

If you take my suggestion and go for advertisers I've alwaysed used monthly payments and it seems to work pretty well. If you can get several advertisers going at $1, $2, and $3 a month then you can probably cover all of your expenses. Then you go out to have larger banners that are like pay per week at $15 a week.

So I highly recommend that you PPT (Pay Per Time) over other methods. From experience I just find it a good tactic.

Also I like my userlevel that I came up with. It was my userlevel at a site I use to belong to and I liked it.
