Forgot everything i learned, need help.

Hi everyone,

I was an active member here a few years back (How time flies) & i forgot EVERYTHING i learned, i even managed to make about £40 with Paypal but forgot how lol. Since then blogging has become more & more popular & i'm interested in starting up an affiliate blog but have no idea where to start.

I created a free blog & started on my banner idea, it was going to be for bingo, putting special offers & promos on the blog but i have no idea where to go now, if i need a click bank account etc etc.

Can someone point me in the right direction, maybe a tutorial somewhere on the site or a video (scanned the tube & nothing useful)

Thanks so much.

Nice to be back.

blogging is beginning to get saturated with mediocre blogs and uninteresting, poorly-written posts. from the sounds of it you're looking to start one of those "make money online (mmo)" blogs. these are particularly susceptible to the same stale content that is repeated everywhere else on other mmo blogs.

as for starting a blog, i'd suggest finding a cheap host that as cpanel with fantastico, and then installing self-hosted wordpress on your hosting account. as for your niche, you might want to try doing things that shoemoney or problogger do. but most other mmo blogs out there are doing this, so if you choose to move down this path, try to bring something interesting and different to the table.

good luck!

If you read the book ProBlogger it will really set you up. I found it by chance in a bookshop and it is one of the best tech books i have read. along with Peter Kent's SEO for dummies i would say that and the chat boards are a great base

I'll give it a good read, there's so many of these books i don't know where to start but seeing as you found it useful, i'll give it a shot. Thanks a bunch.
