My cousin after 10 years of owning a diamond store, started a website for it.
What are some good ways to promote diamond website, these are good diamond jewerly btw, nothing less than $500.
Also he already has a very good feedback on Ebay.

| you can always do SEO to get the site ranked high for certain keywords. but for instant flow of traffic, you can submit to related sites, comment on relavant blogs, and advertise on relevant site as well. |

| depends whether you want to spend money promoting it or you want to do the seo yourself and get it done free.
You can start by doing directory submission in order to increase your backlinks. A few other methods are:
-article writing and submission to article directories the most important being ezinearticles.com
-posting the link in forums or putting it on your signature
-making link exchanges with other sites from the same domain
-posting on blogs
NP has a services section, see what you find there for a start. | |

| Please focus on market as you want to target local market or you able to ship on all over world or some particular country.
Then might be follow social networking site where you can meet most lady buyers.
Plus focus your target area and do ppc. | |

| I deal in diamonds. Good to go to trade shows or just visit any diamond dealer in your area that may have a site and ask them to link with you.
Diamond dealers are always willing to deal with you if it will make them money.
Tell them you will post an advt on your site for free if they will link with you.
The more dealers linking to you the more reputable your site will be as Diamond dealing is a close nit society 
Dont forget to link your Ebay store to your site

| geo targetted adwords in affluent suburban areas that are not near a major diamond district would help. for example orange country buyers who inquire for info from a new york diamond seller...
