Have $500 to $750 to advertise, need advise

Hi,

I have around $500 to $750 for advertising.

What will I advertise? My copywriting and web design services.

Is the budget mentioned meant to be used this month alone? YES.

Am I willing to take it to $1000: Well it depends, but, YES I can take it to $1000 if something really worthwhile comes along.

Any input regarding this will be really appreciated!

It would be best to buy daily or weekly advertising on high-traffic graphics, web designing, SEO forums/sites, etc. Some sites like pixel2life.com have cheap weekly advt. plans. I successfully advertised one of my image hosting sites on pixel2life -got around 30,000 visitors in a week. You can look up similar sites on Google.

you probably won't like this answer but if I were you, I take that $500-$750 and invest in a website, domain, or the like. Use your decisions to make you the money your looking for

My advice would be to invest in a few text links on some high traffic websites. Look at Text-Link-Ads.com

contentpro, are you also open to SEO services?

You can also opt to advertise it on other sites that are webmaster related - this would definitely help increase the level of visibility on your target market. PPC is also a good option if you have good knowledge on using it, otherwise stay away from it as it might just eat up your budget.

You can also start by hyperlinking your site on your siggy and anchoring your keywords in them

I agree. Don't use TextLinkAds.com and stay away from link farms and FFA pages. I know a few traffic secrets.

I've tried StumbleUpon ads and got a lot of visits fast.

They are only 5 cents a view. I'd say money well spent since I would have paid .40-.80 a click for search engine ads.

The best way to get targeted traffic is to create great custom content for your site. Give visitors a reason to visit and Google will love you.

I guess adword is the most popular type of advertising. But you can try maybe sitepoint they charge a fee to post your service. I would reccomend those two places.

Use services or social networking for this, just takes time, but if your going to use money then go for Yahoo PPC and Google, but stay away from Text Links ads as Google hates them. I''ve seen Pageranks go down because of webmasters adding Text Links ads to their sites.
