Can someone help

Hi All

No idea what section to put this in so sorry if its wrong.

I have a site (the names not important) when I look at the adsense impressions it says 195. I have recently purchased some traffic, looking at the stats for that I have 274 page visits. To me that dont make sense. Surely the page impressions for the ads must be more? Or am I miss understanding the whole thing?

Thanks

James

Hi Thanks for the reply.

Giving out the name has no bearing on the question.

I also didnt realise that Google did not allow paid traffic. I though that people used paid traffic to a site as a marketing option to get people onto the site. They are only going to click the ads which are very very small and in one corner if they really want to.

Any way the question was about the difference in adsense impressions compared to what the traffic company has informed Im getting. Should there be a difference or do I have an obvious miss understanding of this?

Thanks

James

Afaik Google has no strict policy against paid traffic. They just don't like Google adwords arbitrage (paying adwords to get traffic to an adsense site, marvellous ), and they don't like made-for-adsense (mfa) websites in general. But the TOS does not say you can't buy traffic for your mfa website. Can anyone copy/paste a policy against it from the TOS?

PS. just because I'm saying there's no strict policy in the TOS as far as I know, that doesn't mean I'm suggesting you should buy traffic for an MFA website. However if you have a legit, good website which just happens to do adsense as well I don't see any objection in buying traffic. Don't mistake buying traffic (campagin based) for buying incoming links though
