AdWords will no longer accept e-gold ads.
Today, i received this email from Google AdWords.
Quote: Dear AdWords Advertiser,
We are writing to inform you of a change to Google's advertising
policies that may affect your AdWords account.
In the coming weeks, we will no longer accept AdWords ads that
promote e-gold. Ads and websites are also not accepted for related
content which includes, but is not limited to, e-gold exchange,
e-gold investment, and e-gold accounts.
When we make this change, Google will suspend all ads identified
as being in violation of this policy. If your account is affected
by this policy change, please remove any e-gold content from your
ad text and website. Current e-gold advertisers are encouraged to
instead advertise other products or services that comply with our
policies.
As a business, Google must make decisions regarding the
advertising that we accept. We apologize for any inconvenience
this policy change may cause you.
Sincerely,
The Google AdWords Team

I think that's ridiculous. E-Gold is also used by reputable businesses, investors, etc.

you have to respect things like this if what selfpleasured is saying is correct. If egold is letting payments go through for child porn then i wouldnt deal with them and there are people, lots of people who wouldnt deal with companies who do deal with them, companies like google.
dont forget that child porn is a million dollar industry at right now there are over 1.2 million child sex slaves around the world, and if not advertising egold may, even slightly help fix this i say go for it. I cant imagine what it would have been like to be taken from my family @ 7, made to be a prosititue @ 8 and killed @ 12.

Google was right to do what it did! Google has core morals and when someone breaks them, they will act!

Thats true... many E-Gold HYIPs, E-Gold games are advertised at Adwords and 90% of them are scams which might be the case.

If we're talking about E-Gold.com adverts, it sounds more likely to me that they just want to crush competition for their Google Checkout service... Just an opinion.

I don't see any kind of competition between Google Checkout and e-gold.
